Full Description
Come and visit Jerusalem’s graffiti in the hidden alleys and the back streets of the Nachla’ot neighborhood and the street art of the Machane Yehuda market. The walls, writings, tags and bumper stickers speak of the tensions between secular and religious Jews, Muslims and Christians, foreign workers, social and peace activists, vegans, feminist religious artists and much more.
In these upbeat streets, we’ll learn how young Jerusalemites live and create today. We will learn about Israeli society’s values and debates.
We’ll raise questions regarding language, culture and identity, and get to truly feel how it is to be a young person in Israel today.
Our guides are all experts in the field of street art, and are themselves street artists.
