Middle East Road Trip

Our fully-packed road trip begins in lively Tel Aviv, a city renowned for its culinary culture.  The evening activity will be our amazing cooking workshop where you will learn to cook Israeli local cuisine.

On day 2 we will depart toward the northern Jordan River border, and enter Jordan where you will meet your guide. We continue towards Jerash, where we have lunch at a nearby restaurant before continuing to the ancient city of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Step back in time as you walk through the ruins of this 4000-year-old city, while your guide explains this wonderful blend of Greco-Roman architecture and the Mediterranean world.

From here we will go to a Bedouin camp near Petra where you will enjoy Bedouin hospitality, including an Arab-style dinner and a comfortable bed for the night. On the third day we will tour Petra. One of the seven wonders of the world, and Jordan’s most treasured attraction, Petra is an unforgettable place. It was carved into the red rocks of the soaring cliffs in the early 1st century as the tomb of a Nabataean king, and was hidden under sand for centuries before recently becoming accessible again. We will enter through the Siq, a narrow gorge, and tour the Treasury and Amphitheater with our guide who will explain the sites and history as you marvel at the beauty of each structure. We will meet up for lunch in Wadi Musa before returning to Israel via Eilat.

Spend the evening in the most southern point of Israel and explore the beautiful beaches of the Eilat coast.

On day 4 we will depart from Eilat in the early morning and drive north through the desert to the foot of Masada. Masada is one of Israel’s most important archaeological sites, and the site of one of the greatest tales of Jewish heroism. The excavated ruins are fascinating to explore, and the remarkable location high above the surrounding desert and the Dead Sea, makes this an impressive experience. You’ll ascend to the top of Masada via a cable car. After leaving Masada, we’ll travel the short distance to the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Surrounded by desert, this beautiful reserve offers a beautiful hike alongside the cool waters which flow from the spring. The last part of the tour is spent at the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Enjoy the salty waters and rejuvenating therapeutic mud, floating and relaxing for an hour and a half before we return to Jerusalem.

Return to the Holy city of Jerusalem, Israel’s capital and check into our cozy Jerusalem hostel. The evening activity will be our famous Hummus making workshop where you will learn to make Israel’s favorite dish.

On day 5 the Holy City Tour is an opportunity to experience the rich history of Jerusalem, a tour packed with amazing sites, stories and spectacles that will bring a new meaning to almost every page in Biblical history.

This 5 day road trip is an exciting and efficient way to cover 4 cities and many sites in the region between Israel and Jordan. A great opportunity for travelers to experience the culture and highlights of both countries.
