Jerusalem's Diverse Communities Through Local Eyes

Discover the unique side of Jerusalem! Step away from the usual tourist trails in the Old City and explore the hidden streets and corners of Jerusalem’s new city through the eyes of locals.

This tour exposes you to the diverse cultural landscape of Jerusalem, taking you to three distinct city centers- each showcasing a different facet of the city’s diverse population: Muslim, Ultra-Orthodox Jewish, and Modern Jewish neighborhoods. Throughout the tour, you’ll also encounter other communities, highlighting the remarkable variety of cultures that call this city home.

Your journey begins with a train ride from Tel Aviv, later you’ll meet up with fellow travelers in Jerusalem and start with a visit to the Ultra Orthodox area, where you will witness the preparations for Shabbat and get a rare insight into their unique way of life.

The tour continues with a visit to two close-knit yet distinct communities—Christian Ethiopians and Russians—offering a rare glimpse into their lives.

Just steps away, you will find one of the best hot spots of the bars and night life scene of Jerusalem, then a few more steps away we will get to an area popular among young people of the Arab community, with stylish wine bars, cozy cafes and artisanal bakeries.

The tour wraps up in the Modern Jewish City Center, at a vibrant bar area that is popular among locals and especially for a Friday afternoon hangout.

This experience is perfect for adventure-seekers looking beyond historical landmarks. Dive into Jerusalem’s vibrant contemporary life, experiencing the city’s diverse communities firsthand. From Arab Muslim culture and Ultra Orthodox pre-Shabbat buzz into Hipstery vibes the modern secular Jewish city center, you’ll have fun exploring the hidden local gems and daily rhythms of the city.
