From your departure city, we’ll drive east through the Judean Desert to the foot of Masada.
Begin a moderate 45-minute hike up the Snake Path, where the rising sun over the mountains provides a breathtaking backdrop. Reach the top to enjoy stunning desert views and the shimmering Dead Sea below.
Explore the archaeological ruins of King Herod’s fortress, built in 30 BCE, and learn the story of the Jewish rebels who chose death over capture by the Romans. After descending, your bus will be ready to continue the journey.
Next, visit Ein Gedi, a lush desert oasis. Enjoy a short hike through the reserve, spotting mountain goats and wildlife among the greenery. Cool off in natural pools and refreshing springs along the streams.
Finally, relax at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Float in the salty waters, experience the therapeutic mud, and soak up the serene surroundings before returning to your departure city.
