Train to HaifaOnce you have tried all the different options find your way back to the station to get on the train to your second stop Haifa.
Visit the Bahá’í GardensYou can either walk up to the Gardens or take the bus. Keep in mind that if you walk, it is a 30 minute walk that takes you through a lot of stairs and can be especially challenging during the summer time! Learn about the gardens, the architecture, and the history of the youngest monotheistic religion with the information provided in you app.
Train to AkkoTake the train to Akko. The ride takes approximately 2 hours. Ride like the locals from Tel Aviv and enjoy the Mediterranean coastal view.
Bus to the visitor centerOnce you have arrived in Akko take the bus to the old city and find your way to the visitor center.
The Akko Visitor Center reception desk is where you collect your Museum Combination Ticket.

- Meeting Point: Take the train from one of the Tel Aviv train stations to the Akko station.
- Collect your Museum Pass from Akko Visitor Center reception desk.
- Dropoff Point: Bus #13, departing every 15 minutes takes you into the Old City in about 5-7 minutes and is free with your Israel Rail Card.
- Alternatively, a taxi is about 20 NIS and if you are feeling up for it, the Old City of Akko is a 20-minute walk from the train station.

Can I visit the inside of the Temple at the Bahai Gardens ?
The Temple and Garden insides are only available by guided tours, which need to be booked directly with the Bahai Gardens in advance.
How long is the train ride from Haifa to Akko ?
About 30min and runs every 30min
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water for the warmer months. Modest attire is required if you decide visting and entering religious sites like the Bahai Temple, Mosque or Synagogue in Akko. Also bring some sweat shirt for the train ride as in the summer the AC can be very cold!
